		CRAFTSMAN STYLE —A simple and timeless look that draws inspiration from crafts, nature and a mission style design.  The Arts -n- Crafts philosophy stresses simplicity using natural materials like wood and metals. ADIRONDACK AND OLD CAMP STYLE —Dating back to the 1800s this architecture uses native materials such as birch bark and rustic details. It harmonizes well with the mountains and woods in our area.  Characteristics of this style are shingled roofs with broad overhangs and porches and the use of logs and indigenous stone.
About:	Ethel Schmitt is an exciting, innovative designer with more than 22 years of experience in the residential construction and decorating business. After graduation from the Faux Finishing School, Ethel gained extensive experience as a designer of residential interiors. She is a certified wallpaper installer and specializes in hand printed papers, murals, silks, grasscloth, and has completed dozens of successful projects for a wide range of discerning clients. Today, Ethel is also a certified Green Builder Professional and Residential Job Supervisor and is known for creating outstanding interiors that are both artful and functional. She is the principle designer and creative force behind all Joybeck Builders projects.
